Current version: v0.67.0-preview

v0.67.0-preview

  • On a phone, selecting the total at the top of a group on the Wealth page now opens the group behind it, matching the desktop.

v0.66.1-preview

  • Fixed an issue where a PureGym payment was listed under the generic name “Gym”, without its logo, while the same payment appeared as PureGym under Bills.

v0.66.0-preview

  • Added a link to Merido's status page on the screen shown if something goes wrong and needs a reload.

v0.65.2-preview

  • Fixed an issue where the welcome message, and the “Help improve Merido” setting shown inside it, were remembered by the browser rather than by your account. Opening Merido on another browser or device brought the welcome message back and showed the setting turned off, whatever you had chosen. Both now follow your account.

v0.65.1-preview

  • Fixed an issue where uploading a new portfolio export could not correct an investment that was matched to the wrong market listing. Merido now checks each listing it already holds against your file, and asks again about any that no longer fit.

v0.65.0-preview

  • Added usage measurement, so we can see which parts of Merido need work. It counts which pages you open and where you click. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and cannot recognise you from one visit to the next. Turning on “Help improve Merido” in Settings adds a recording of how you move around the app. Every piece of text is hidden before it leaves your browser, so we never see your financial information or personal details.

v0.64.1-preview

  • Fixed an issue where the demo, and the app behind it, was slow to open after a period of no use. The first page now loads as quickly as every page after it.

v0.64.0-preview

  • Improved the grouped cards on the Wealth page. Selecting the total at the top of a card now opens the group behind it — its combined value, the figures behind that value, and a list to pick an individual account from — and each account listed on the card opens straight to itself. What a click will open is now shown as you point at it.

v0.63.1-preview

  • Fixed an issue where an investment account or pension valued from an imported portfolio could not be deleted.

v0.63.0-preview

  • Updating an investment account from a new export now runs the same screens as adding one. Everything you have already matched to the market stays matched, anything the file adds is matched too, and Merido only asks about the ones it cannot settle on its own.

v0.62.0-preview

  • Redesigned Merido for a phone. Spending, Bills and Wealth lay out for a narrow screen, with a period stepper, plain lists and a chart that reads at phone size; Home and Goals fit without cramping; detail panels open as a sheet from the bottom; and tapping a field no longer zooms the page.

v0.61.1-preview

  • Fixed an issue where a settled mortgage could be listed as needing its balance updated.

v0.61.0-preview

  • When you import investments, Merido now checks each one against the market and shows what it can keep priced. Where a company trades on more than one exchange it asks which listing you hold, and where no price is available — UK gilts, for instance — it says so and keeps the value from your file.

v0.60.0-preview

  • Investment accounts and pensions now reprice themselves each morning, so their value keeps up with the market without you uploading anything. Upload again when you buy or sell, not to refresh a price. Each investment shows the date its price was taken, because funds and shares are not priced at the same moment.

v0.59.0-preview

  • Redesigned Merido's logo and mark, and rolled them through the app.

v0.58.0-preview

  • Added a notice on phones that Merido is not yet designed for mobile devices. It appears once and points to a desktop for the full experience.

v0.57.1-preview

  • Fixed an issue where only one pension was shown as valued from its investments when there was more than one.

v0.57.0-preview

  • You can now add an investment account or pension by importing the investments your provider exports, with direct support for Interactive Investor and Hargreaves Lansdown.

v0.56.0-preview

  • You can now see the individual investments inside an investment account or pension, and the account is valued from them rather than from a figure you keep up to date yourself.

v0.55.0-preview

  • Merido now says which years of a property's borrowing it has nothing recorded for.

v0.54.0-preview

  • You can now record a property's whole borrowing history in one flow — the purchase, and every remortgage and rate switch since.

v0.53.0-preview

  • You can now see what a mortgage payment becomes when its fixed rate ends, and Merido reprices the payment against the revert rate once it has.

v0.52.1-preview

  • Fixed an issue where you were signed out an hour after signing in.

v0.52.0-preview

  • You can now switch a mortgage to a new rate with the same lender, and keep the progress you have already made repaying it.

v0.51.0-preview

  • You can now record whether a mortgage rate is fixed or variable, and the date the deal ends.

v0.50.1-preview

  • Fixed an issue where a mortgage's balance history was worked out at its current interest rate, rather than the rate that applied at the time.

v0.50.0-preview

  • Settings, log out and feedback are now reachable on a phone, not only from the sidebar on a wider screen.

v0.49.1-preview

  • Fixed an issue where a settled mortgage was not labelled as settled, and could not be opened from its property.

v0.49.0-preview

  • You can now remortgage from the property itself. Merido carries the details across, settles the old mortgage and opens the new one.

v0.48.0-preview

  • Settling a mortgage and recording its replacement is now a single step, and the two are linked.

v0.47.0-preview

  • You can now mark a mortgage as settled, and name the mortgage that replaced it.

v0.46.0-preview

  • Mortgages taken out after the purchase now record their own start date, and equity before that date is measured without them.

v0.45.2-preview

  • Deleting a property now deletes the mortgages secured on it.

v0.45.1-preview

  • Fixed an issue where a property with two mortgages showed as two cards on Wealth.

v0.45.0-preview

  • Mortgages now belong to a property, and equity is the property's value less the mortgages against it.

v0.44.2-preview

  • Fixed an inconsistency in which categories could hold bills. One rule now decides, and one card confirms them.

v0.44.1-preview

  • Fixed an issue where set-up could reopen after being completed.

v0.44.0-preview

  • Merido now suggests a mortgage's monthly payment and current balance from its terms. Both can be corrected.

v0.43.0-preview

  • Properties now record the purchase price, date and deposit, so equity is measured from the purchase rather than the first valuation.

v0.42.3-preview

  • Fixed an issue where an asset's value on a given date could differ between pages.

v0.42.2-preview

  • Added estimation of an asset's value between valuations, carried through net worth, the waterfall and the trajectory.

v0.42.1-preview

  • Fixed an issue where deleting an asset or liability left its net-worth history behind.

v0.42.0-preview

  • You can now record contributions and their dates when adding an investment, and the return is measured against them.

v0.41.0-preview

  • Added annualised return to investments, measured over the time you have held them.

v0.40.0-preview

  • Added support for a balance column in mapped imports, so the account's balance comes from the file.

v0.39.0-preview

  • Set-up now fills in an account's balance from the imported statement, for you to confirm or correct.

v0.38.2-preview

  • Fixed an issue where editing or deleting a valuation did not update an asset's current value.

v0.38.1-preview

  • Improved business recognition, and reviewed existing patterns against real statements.

v0.38.0-preview

  • You can now delete an asset or a liability.

v0.37.2-preview

  • Fixed an issue where an investment's return included the money you paid in.

v0.37.1-preview

  • The Spend and Income cards now lead with the actual figure, with the projection named beneath it.

v0.37.0-preview

  • Added a comparison with last period to parent categories, subcategories and businesses.

v0.36.1-preview

  • Fixed an issue where refunds were not subtracted from spending totals.

v0.36.0-preview

  • Made renewals their own kind of bill, carrying the year-on-year comparison.

v0.35.0-preview

  • Merido now asks which product a bill is for when a provider sells more than one.

v0.34.0-preview

  • Made Travel a parent category with its own subcategories, and added Cinema and events under Entertainment.

v0.33.0-preview

  • Split Shopping and Home into subcategories that name what you spent on.

v0.32.2-preview

  • Fixed an issue where a category rule could file an outgoing payment as income. Rules now take direction into account.

v0.32.1-preview

  • Fixed the naming of the wealth assessment bands, so each band is named for its own measure.

v0.32.0-preview

  • Money moved into savings is no longer counted as spending, and money taken back out is no longer counted as income.

v0.31.6-preview

  • Fixed an issue where category rules matched the payment processor rather than the business behind it.

v0.31.5-preview

  • Extended bill detection to energy, water and broadband.

v0.31.4-preview

  • Added support for every month-name date format, whichever way round the day and month sit.

v0.31.3-preview

  • Added support for dates written like 03-Jan-26, as Revolut writes them.

v0.31.2-preview

  • Improved the irregular-income step to lead with what Merido found and ask only for what it needs.

v0.31.1-preview

  • Confirming a bill now uses the same card in set-up and on the Bills page.

v0.31.0-preview

  • Moved all of set-up's questions into the checklist.

v0.30.1-preview

  • Fixed an issue where transfers into loan or card accounts were counted as spending.

v0.30.0-preview

  • Added direct import support for Starling statements.

v0.29.0-preview

  • Added a Needs attention tile on Bills, collecting the payments Merido expected and did not see.

v0.28.0-preview

  • Added missed-payment detection. Merido notices when a bill you expected did not arrive, only where your imports cover the period.

v0.27.1-preview

  • Fixed an issue where a credit card's status was read from the expected payment date rather than the payment received.

v0.27.0-preview

  • Importing into an existing account now uses the same flow as setting up a new one.

v0.26.2-preview

  • Added detection of annual home insurance policies as renewals.

v0.26.1-preview

  • Improved business recognition across names, categories and logos.

v0.26.0-preview

v0.25.0-preview

  • Added a set-up step for income that arrives at no fixed interval.

v0.24.3-preview

  • Fixed an issue where a one-off purchase at a business Merido recognises was not treated as a one-off.

v0.24.2-preview

  • Fixed an issue where payments to a card issuer were detected as bills.

v0.24.1-preview

  • The import preview now shows the tidied name that will be saved, rather than the bank's raw description.

v0.24.0-preview

  • You can now rename a detected bill as you confirm it, and bills from the same business are flagged.

v0.23.3-preview

  • Fixed an issue where a regular benefit payment could be offered as a salary.

v0.23.2-preview

  • Set-up now separates what it read from your statement from what it worked out, so you know which to check.

v0.23.1-preview

  • The import confirm screen now shows the rows to be saved, with the categories and businesses they will carry.

v0.23.0-preview

  • Added detection of savings pots from the transfers that name them, so set-up can offer them rather than asking you to enter each one.

v0.22.0-preview

  • Set-up now uses one flow wherever you start it, and closing it keeps your progress.

v0.21.0-preview

  • Added a set-up checklist that walks through your bills and salary in turn and shows what is left.

v0.20.4-preview

  • Fixed an issue where bills due on the 29th, 30th or 31st disappeared in shorter months.

v0.17.1-preview

  • Fixed an issue where a business link you made by hand could be overwritten by the next import.

v0.17.0-preview

  • Added an optional setting to share unrecognised transaction descriptions and help improve recognition for everyone. Off by default.

v0.16.1-preview

  • Fixed an issue where recognised transactions showed an initial instead of the business's logo.

v0.16.0-preview

  • The Filters button now shows how many filters are in effect.

v0.15.0-preview
