Troubleshooting
Merido won't read the file
The export sheet offers three formats. If you chose Bank Statement (PDF) or Quicken / Microsoft Money (QIF), generate the statement again and choose Comma Separated (CSV).
The file is on your phone but you need it on your computer
Use the share sheet when the export finishes. Save to Files puts it in a folder you can reach from your computer, or send it to yourself with AirDrop or Mail.
Other Monzo download options
The export sheet also offers Bank Statement (PDF) and Quicken / Microsoft Money (QIF). For getting your transaction history into Merido, Comma Separated (CSV) is the one to pick.
You don’t always need a custom range. Under Your monthly statements, the share icon next to any month exports that month in the same three formats, and Custom statements offers Last 3 full months and Current month to date shortcuts.
If you have more than one account, the Account picker at the top of Statement History runs the same export for each, including joint accounts.
This guide has no browser steps because Monzo has no online banking for personal accounts. The export happens in the app on your phone.
These steps were checked in the iPhone app. The Android app hasn’t been checked, so some labels may differ there, particularly the sharing step at the end.
